Children's Garden

We went to the Sarasota Children's Garden again today!  This is only the second time we've ever been... but the place is amazing!  The lush greenery... the fanciful surroundings ~ So fun, beautiful, & whimsical!!

Follow the yellow brick road into a  land of make-believe....

Thru the secret door a pirate ship awaits...

a maze to be explored, a tree fort to climb....

a fairy garden to have tea & more.....

We are a two acre whimsical and interactive garden for kids....
All activity is watched over by the main character, Snuffy the Magical dragon...

where imagination blossoms...

and nature play is getting your hands dirty!
sand play. amongst the tendrils of giant octopus!

After stepping through the entrance tunnel a pathway leads beside a koi pond to the enchanting Land of Odd. Beyond the archway is a land dotted with clever metal sculptures and animal-shaped topiary.
the entire area - including the playground - are made from recycled materials!

Surrounded by lush greenery, beautiful plants....

And good friends....

It's a place where colors abound  & creativity is encouraged!
