I have really been struggling with the weight & challenge of what it is to raise a child. Protecting them, to keep them safe from this wicked world... yet not suffocating who they are, so they are too sheltered and vulnerable. Laying down the law, yet still allowing them to be who they are meant to be... not who I tell them to be.
