What next?

If it's not one thing it's another.... I need more of y'alls thoughts and prayers!!

DH lost his job unexpectedly last night. They just called him in, took his phone (so now I have no way of contacting him - arg!), and let him go! I don't exactly know any of the the details of why (he avoided the question), but from what I understand (from him to my BIL to my sister to me) it was over something very stupid! Please pray he can find something soon!! Since I am a SAHM, we currently have no income until he can find something else!! ! All I can do is hope and pray that this all works out SOON!! Thanx!

As for my Grandpa dying... I am hanging in there okay. My sister and BIL will be flying in sometime next week, and we will be leaving on Thursday to drive to Miami for his service.

So that's the skinny on my life right now. Hopefully nothing else happens...

Thank you so much for all your T&P's.... it means so much!! We will be traveling to Miami next Thursday (4/3) for the funeral. My sister and her husband are flying down Thursday morning, and we will pick them up on our way there. Right now, with her DH"s work schedule and with flight times, things are going to be very tight in getting there. Please pray that everything gets worked out and goes smoothly during our trip. Thanx!

T&P please!!

My grandfather passed away very unexpectedly last night. He was 85 and just couldn't pull through the recovery from his heart surgery, like they hoped. He seemed to be doing better... and then suddenly began quickly deteriorating, and then was gone. I am numb. I have been crying on and off all day - not a fun way to spend Easter Sunday. It's been comforting to have my family is in town (from KY) right now.... but we're all pretty shell-shocked and upset. I am emotionally drained. Details are being worked out for a service (probably in Miami), but we're not sure of any more details at this time. Any thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

"Bye Bye"

KB started waving "Bye bye" on Monday!! All you have to say is "Bye Bye, Kara" and she starts waving one -- or sometimes both-- of her hand(s). At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but then she did it again (repeatedly) last night and then again today. It's SOOOO cute!!!
