Molly of MommaMolly.com is currently running a series of posts all about natural childbirth.... and asked me if I would be willing to guest post / share my homebirth story... which, of course, I was thrilled to do.
So, after almost two years... and some sorting out of really fuzzy details (Thanx Marmee!). - I finally present to you - for the first time ever in writing...
KB's birth story!

“Women’s bodies were designed to birth. that’s a simple fact. you were designed to birth naturally. no experience or training necessary. there’s no special esoteric mystery about it. it’s a very simple every day fact of life. millions of women have done it for millions of years. it’s a tremendous blessing but it’s also completely ordinary and normal and not only for a special few. you can do it too. i have absolute trust in that.”

Edit: Shortly after making this post, my story was also featured on the Born in Sarasota blog ~ A site dedicated to promoting choices in mother-friendly maternity care providers and practices, informed consent for our pregnant families, and increased support of normal childbirth in our community. ~ I am so excited!! :)

I love that photo too! You have such an awesome story! Glad Marmee was able to help with the details...
Enjoyed your birth story at Molly's! I so love stories of natural birth! And what a testimony, too.
How awesome! While I did not have a home birth, I did have a natural, drug free birth. It was the most amazing experience I've ever had and I am so proud to say that prayer and my wonderful husband helped me through it! I love your blog, thanks for all the awesome posts.
