Park Day 2: Hollywood Studios!

Day two... Hollywood Studios - April 22, 2009!

Park Day 1: Magic Kingdom!

Last week, we had our last family trip to Disney World, before our passes expire! Tonight I worked on editing & uploading most of the pix from that trip... and will post the albums up as individual slideshows, as time allows.

Here is the first one... Magic Kingdom - April 21, 2009!

Disney... here we come!!

This afternoon we will be driving to Orlando to join my in-laws at Disney for the weekend!

I am very much looking forward to this trip.... as the last time we were there (in May, when my in-laws bought us our season passes, for (early) Christmas)... KB was only 8½ mos old. Now, she is so much more aware of things, and has become her own little person... I think it's going to be a lot of fun!! I can't wait!!

See y'all when we get back!!

4th of July

We had a delicious dinner at the in-laws.... Lemon/Chicken soup, Greek salad and (4th of July tradion), watermelon.... and then headed out to the bay to see the fireworks. Thanks to my FIL knowing/befriending *everyone* he meets, we were able to have the most awesome Birdseye view of the fireworks - from the roof top of a beautiful [ritzy!] 12 story building, overlooking the marina... it was breathtakingly spectacular!! Unfortunately, I forgot to grab the Rebel as we were running out the door... but I did try to get a few pictures via our little Sony point&shoot (diaper bag backup camera)... next year, we're definitely taking the good camera & a tripod!!

A view from the Marina/fireworks launching spot....
The middle building is our viewing spot...
